Experts' Committee

In the 1950-1960’s, the airports became the CODES that we are now familiar with (Palma=PMI, Gatwick=LGW,…) and the GDS technology to provide content and connectivity for electronic distribution of airlines, increasing exponentially passenger and cargo business. The coding of Marinas is the milestone of this project and this coding will help develop communications, distribution and BUSINESS in the Marina sector. The purpose of an EXPERTS' COMMITTEE leading design and implementation of UNIMARINA is to ensure quality of content, efficiency and security of transactions according to the know-how of the Nautical Industry. Another characteristic is that it is an OPEN STANDARD, allowing those that Marinas determine work with optimal customer service, to develop their businesses.

How does a boater in Singapur plan his trip to Australia and the berth reservations? It should be as simple as how GDS’s allow any flight to be booked online from/to any place in the world. How does a Captain plan the REFIT of a 25m yacht? Unimarina will allow Project Managers and other REFIT companies to contact the client easily.

How many charters are booked each year in Croatia? Unimarina will handle this information for the whole Nautical Industry.
